Parks & Recreation

The Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for upkeep of the city parks and shelter houses, walking trails and the Jud Palmer Community Center. In addition, the Parks and Recreation Department provides recreational activities for adults as well as the youth of our community through organized, seasonal sporting activities. Director of Parks and Recreation, Steve Zimmerman, oversees the Parks and Recreation Department.

Responsibilities:

• Mowing and maintenance of city parks
• Coordination of recreational activities
• Reservation and scheduling of park facilities
• Reservation and scheduling for the Jud Palmer Community Center
